G - Steffen/Horvath
LB - Yedlin/Robinson
CB - Brooks/Zimmerman
CB - Miazga/Long
RB - Dest/Cannon
CDM - Adams/Pomykal
CAM - Arriola/Lletget
CAM - McKennie
Left Wing - Pulisic
Striker - Sargent/Soto
Right Wing - Weah/Morris

So lock him in as Right Back starter for the foreseeable.

Who am I missing?

I’d keep yedlin at RB, and move Dest to LB unless Dest really doesn’t want to play there. He played preeason at LB for Ajax, and was solid. Going forward he’s good wherever you put him. I just think it would be more difficult for yedlin to make the transition than dest. Plus if Christian continues to play out wide on the left they could develop a solid partnership.

How “future” are we talking? Jozy needs to be there over Soto for now

CDM - Adams/Pomykal

If there is one thing I'm certain about in this life, it's that Paxton Pomykal is not a 6... Not even close.

I think at his peak, he's a 10, but he could be a damn good 8 as well. His passing and ball skills in tight spaces has me salivating at his potential.

I can't wait until he puts it all together.

He is very, very solid defensively, which is why I default to calling him an 8 (also where Dallas plays him more), however if we go to a coherent press his work rate in a more advanced position could help us out.

I’m playing Cannon ahead of Yedlin.

What is the ideal formation with Adams and McKennie? 4-2-3-1 with a double pivot like Bradley and Jones used to play? Then find a top 4 in some combination of CP/TW/JS/?

Did anything else ever come out about other nations courting Soto? Haven’t paid much attention lately.

Our best front would is Pulisic-Joey-Weah in a 4-3-3

Some frick’s younger brother, Joey frick.

He’s more of a poacher, but his ceiling is Peter Crouch.

The term poacher is not allowed ever since Wondo skied it. No more poaching, poaching never existed!
