What would Pellegrini have done with this talent? We´ll never know, he got sacked after beastin´with one quarter of this talent (who expected RM to get through the round of sixteen, only people who think the crest or shield alone, wins matches).

Elections, convoke them now!

I am sick and tired of the Flo and Mou show. Flo, I get his ´play´, but Mou is a horse´s rear end for whom the pants of being a Real Madrid skipper and ambassador, are waaaaay too big.

They knew exactly who were they bringing in when they hired him...

Are the Madristas getting restless? This goes back to the thread regarding the biggest disappointment this season (relative to expectations)

He was an unpopular hire. Until now, Real Madrid did not employ people of his kind (blustery, vociferous, snarky, snide, always armed with excuses).

The win at all costers railroaded him in, to the point of attacking all naysayers of specific weight in the club, relentlessy, until they either acquiesced, were silenced, or resigned.

The many whose arms were twisted, aren´t putting up with this shite much longer.

It´s been three seasons now, I don´t believe the translator has won anything (in spite of record cash splashes which have responded in full to his demands).

Anyway, I agree Pellegrini was sacked too early, but Perez has always gone for style over substance it seems...

Probably watch Meerkat di Maria pointlessly flounder around whenever he touches the field.

I think that they've done reasonably well with all of the injuries, but I have been surprised with how disjointed they have looked whenever they have to truly break another team down. Think that it might have something to do with the amount of squad rotation and the insertion of Modric. Though Modric has done well, he doesn't always look to be on the same page with a couple of the other players.

Yeah, I would figure that during your golden generation, RM should be able to trot out more than 4 that play significant roles (Iker, Xabi, Sergio & Alvaro)...

The problem with saying that Real Madrid needs more Spaniards is that there aren't that many left (that aren't on Barcelona) that would definitely start for Madrid. There's the EPL trio of Cazorla, Mata, and Silva who would probably be rotation players. Roberto Soldado could probably beat out Benzema, and definitely Higuain, for a starting place.

Guys like Isco, Llorente, Negredo and Navas would make the bench and start sparingly.

Exactly. The core of that Spanish team was Barca-bred and the others they either tried to sign (like Santi) or didn't need.

Not sure Soldado would beat out either Benzema or Higuain (certainly the latter is more likely), but he is an example of Real's interesting development system. They sell pretty much all their home-grown talent off without giving them any chance at Real.

I also don't quite understand Dandy continually referring to Mourinho as "The Translator" in a derogatory sense. I find it rather admirable he worked his way from the bottom to the top of his profession. Not to mention his CV is as impressive as anyone out there. I can understand being stylistically opposed to his system (I hate Muschamp because of the style of O he employs, and look what he's done this year) but at least give the guy a bit of respect. They did win the league last year which is pretty damn impressive considering Barca is the best club team of all time.

I know not in the EPL, but you may be able to throw Javi in the mix as well.

Your point is well taken though. There are not enough Spainards left to start for Madrid. Look at some of their non-Spanish players. There is no way you should consider replacing Ronaldo, Ozil, Marcelo, Pepe, and maybe Khedira.

Sure, you could toss Silva and Santi into the mix, but there is already a wealth of talent in Xabi, Ozil, Luka, di Maria (sometimes), etc.

He could easily do the job of Khedeira or possibly Allowing Ramos to fo back to RB and take up a spot at CB...

I think Muniain would be a benefit.... off the bench

Please Real get rid of him. There is another team who will be looking for a manager at the end of the season. Come home Jose!
