For me it comes down to if the player that is backing in can reasonably play the ball where it is coming down at. It can go both ways.

Agreed. When Kane does it, it’s intentional…he always gives a look back over his shoulder to see if a defender is there. Don’t think Jota did it on purpose there and the Chelsea defender jumped into him.
