Say what you want about the rest of Kenny's transfers, but Henderson is a fine young prospect. He has tremendous ability. Dempsey is a 29 year old player in the last year of his contract. They do not have equal values.

Henderson is young, that's where we stop agreeing. I mean he's an ok player but he's not anywhere near the level of Dempsey who probably has another 3 years playing at a very high level. Your best current option at left wing is a 17 year old kid. I know Dempsey likes to play inside but if you don't think he'd make this team a lot better then I don't know what to tell you.

He has less value in the last year of his contract than he would if he had several years left. 12 months from now he could be had on a free.

Isn't that the point? Don't you want Liverpool to challenge for a European spot? I mean, I know a top 4 finish is a long shot but y'all just played a very good game against Man City and probably should have won.
I know Liverpool is going through a rebuilding but experienced players who produce at high levels help that rebuilding process.
