So, the rumor is we will bring in Hans-Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt this summer...

He was the long serving Bayern Munich doctor who fell out with Pep last season..

I can't pretend to know anything about him, other than what Ive read this morning (apparently, he's in to some non-conventual shite), but most think it would be a good thing...

Is this Sakho's first time with the captain's armband for us?

Interesting - no Milner. His engine has been great but effectiveness not so much. Is it just rotation? Or is klopp thinking firmino has the goods? It certainly feels like a more offensive line-up.

I thought sakho captained a cup or Europa game at some point.

I think he wore it against Bordeaux... He is definitely captain material, but I think Hendo is, as well...

I like the line up, given who's available.. Klopp would be very familiar with Firmino and I am looking forward to seeing him... On paper, its a strong front 4

However, I think, when healthy, we have enough to rotate players in attack... Hopefully, Milner has seen the end of his days in a 2 man MF... I think he can play CM in a diamond, but not in a double pivot..

edit: Given Firmino is working his way back, I'm sure he'll get yanked at some point for Milner or Ibe, depending on circumstance

This is a big match. I really want to see Firmino and Coutinho shine here. Cou, I feel, really needs an injection of confidence.

So, its Origi and Milner... kinda disappointed, but I realize Benteke and Firmino need to work their way back in..

Premiere League Live folks just commented that Klopp had pushed the players to "relax on the ball" this week, I assume in an effort to help convert the chances we have gotten on goal in a more efficient fashion. Hopefully the guys take it to heart.

That makes sense - I do think we put too much pressure on ourselves and I think our fandom doesn't help in that regard - that's one of the reasons a lot of players don't pan out coming from smaller clubs

Agreed, and that could have been the case for a while now. Especially relying on second/third option strikers and formation/personnel uncertainty.

One thing I really like about Klopp.. Even though we heard all about his favored 4231.. He is setting the team up that favors the players strengths...

I think its something Brendan did early on, until his ego took over...

We started well getting people running toward goal, but we stopped doing it for some reason at the 10' mark. Frustrating.

Also, our touch and passing has been horrendous.

Edit: Still very early.

Aside from a couple of great balls, the passing has been poor.

I'm ready to see Damien's team.

I want to see Benteke too.. Origi isn't ready to be a lone striker..
