Wtf Skrtel!? Why cover the lane to the gaol from the back line on that pass instead of taking away the pass? His awareness is garbage.
Amd I am enjoying Toure/Sakho. I REALLY want Skrtel to not play.

God damn, that was an interesting match. Had a little of everything. Mostly frustrating stuff, but I can't remember the last time I was happy with a draw!

Geez, if we can get Studge back soon... We may concede some goals, but I think we'll score more... have more of a punchers chance..

Yea that's the frustrating part. Look at the shot statistics for the last 2 matches. We still have some trouble with a final ball to get a true quality chance, but we're just terrible at finishing while Arsenal and United just took advantage of their chances

Scouse Cafu can help a little in regards to conceding less goals. A healthy Studge, and anything it possible.

Brad Jones isn't helping matters either. I really wish BR would scrap this Brad Jones idea, and go back to Simon until Jan.

yeah, but not a hair out of place all game..
seriously, I would have liked Migs chances of stopping the Giroud goal... maybe he wouldn't, but more of a shot than Brad..

With a legit striker we are 3/4 in the league right now. We played great...just couldn't create too many opportunities without a striker. Also, is there a club that's worse than us on set pieces? Holy Jesus

Thought Jones played well overall. He was in the perfect spot on the giroud goal

We've got Skrtel! Let's play him as a forward, and revert to the traditional 4 in the back.

As much as I hate on Skrtel, that header was a LASER. Great goal. He still shouldn't be a starter if you ask me, though.
Borini was great until he lost his damn mind. He did get screwed on a few calls, but him getting sent off was deserved. If he had scored, it could have easily been a perception saving outing, buying him maybe until the end of the year... not likely, but plausible. Instead, the jackass hurts his chances of being sold and the clubs chances of getting cash padding for transfers. frick him.
ETA: As far as the Jones experiment, he played very well today. Skrtel hung him out to dry twice. Lost his mark on the header and got out-jumped because of it. The second one he was guarding the back boundary between the guy with the ball and Brad Jones. The angle was terrible and Jones most certainly would have stopped it. Instead of doing what he should have and covering the pass lane to the open guy who he knew was there, he does what he did and concedes a goal.
I was impressed with Jones today. He was in all the right places at the right times. Skrtel gave up two goals, not Jones.
