If Kann keeps this up, Guzan may not even be needed

I've always seen English people who say they hate the English national team because they hate its players who play for rival clubs. I'm getting a better understanding of that now.

You ain't lyin'. That was the most pathetic "call" I've ever seen.

That official, much like the official in the Seattle match, was doing his level best to pick Toronto up on his shoulders and carry'em over the finish line.

All things considered, the last two results have been excellent.

Let's do it. Jozy & Bradley have been nothing but serial butchers and moaners for years.

I've been saying frick em for a while but no one else seems to have that same mindset

So what even happened? I missed the second half because of live pd.

A Mexican dude was caught jacking off in the back of the cop car and trying to drink his own cum.

The more I watch the replay, the more it seems to me that Asad's elbow barely grazes Zavaleta's head and Zavaleta's reaction is delayed by 1/2 second.

"Oh, was that an elbow? Time to flop!"

Maybe I'm just being a homer here. Does anyone else see it that way?

Yeah, I didn't want to pay the money for MLS live and it be blacked out. Wondering if a vpn will work?

I can watch mlb.tv on Kodi without a sub, but mls live asks me for an email address when I try to load it on Kodi.

Try using the fox sports go app, you may be able to stream on there even if the cable channel is showing the braves

Nope, I checked the FS Go app as I was traveling to SC, the condo had a weak cable package, broke out the FS go app, the app was showing the Braves too.

Sucked. Had to rely on ESPN to send alerts.

Atlanta goes to Seattle then Toronto, taking results from both with every disadvantage (including homer officiating) against them along with the fact that Atlanta is also higher in the table than both Seattle and Toronto.

Ergo, Seattle and Toronto are higher in the MLS "Power Rankings".

https://www.espnfc.us/major-league-soccer/19/blog/post/3100636/mls-power-rankings-toronto-fc-seattle-sounders-atlanta-united-climb-as-fc-dallas-remains-in-first-place

quote:

1. FC Dallas (no change)
Javier Morales scored his first goal for his new team in a 2-0 win against Minnesota United and joined the MLS 50-goal, 50-assist club in the process.

2. Portland Timbers (no change)
Call the Timbers road warriors. After going winless away from home last year, Portland already has two road wins in 2017, including a 3-1 result against the Philadelphia Union.

3. Toronto FC (+2)
Toronto will hope Sebastian Giovinco's first goal of the year in the 2-2 draw with Atlanta United will jumpstart his scoring.

4. Seattle Sounders (+2)
The Sounders will kick themselves for wasting Nicolas Lodeiro's goal and failing to close out proceedings in the 1-1 draw with the San Jose Earthquakes.

5. Atlanta United (+2)
The new boys can play -- and not just at home. Another road point in a tough Toronto environment is very impressive.

A really good examination in detail of the red card.

https://www.dirtysouthsoccer.com/2017/4/10/15243416/yamil-asad-red-card-eriq-zavaleta-atlanta-united-toronto-fc

quote:

So, the answer: it doesn’t matter. I say that because no official on the field had an adequate angle to view the clash clearly enough to judge. A rule of thumb in refereeing is if you didn’t see it, you can’t call it. This was in fact a very good example of why VAR is potentially a good thing.

That aside, referee David Gantar and his crew got just about everything wrong here.

quote:

Gantar’s position relative to the play was in the center circle a good ten yards away and nearly parallel with Asad’s left shoulder (the shoulder away from the contact). In other words, Asad’s entire body was blocking his view of the play.

quote:

The only person he may talk to is the assistant referee on that side of the field. However, that AR cannot have had a good view of the incident as the teams were very spread out. He would have been deep in the Atlanta half level with the offside line, at least thirty yards away if not more. The play was well outside his “quadrant” (the quarter of the field in which he is required to observe play closely) and his opinion should have been irrelevant. But right after that conversation, Gantar issues the red card. It appears that the clash was shown on the stadium big screen, a major no-no. I do not think that Gantar himself saw it as he was busy talking to players the entire time. My guess is the AR saw it and relayed the information to him. But this is information that the referee is not permitted to consider.

Well that's not true. You can see his angle in the video.
