oh i know. we def don't have a hazard and never have. i guess what i'm saying is that we just seemed toothless when we had possession. i hardly felt at all like we had a chance to draw level, or hell, even take the lead before they scored. and that was more on us than them.

The Belgians were very tough in the 80s and 90s, that's for certain, and have always had good solid players. For a smallish nation, like the Netherlands, they've always been tremendous. It's the game.....that a nation like Belgium can make World Cup Quarter finals, and our 325 million can't find 25 solid, world class players amongst all our athletes.
Hazard, Mertens, don't forget Felliani and Dembele, as well.
I'm still not all that concerned, it was only 1-0, and Klinsi wants to see everyone at his disposal. Some of us warned this would happen. They're friendlies, this is what they're designed for, mostly. Sure you want to win, badly. We're going to head down this road for the next few months, until qualifiers.

I agree. I thought the only way were gonna get a positive result was if we scored first. Offensively we just weren't cohesive and frankly haven't been for some time.

We were playing a new formation against a better organized and more talented team. That is to be expected. Like I said losing 1-0 to Belgium in Brussels is nothing to bitch about.

oh, i'm not worried by any means. a new formation, different callups. i am not worried about any of the matches this year. next year for qualifying...that will be different. i just feel we played really well friday and meh today. alcohol makes it more of a meh

They can be. Passing them isn't the worst thing, it's usually just when they move. It will bring you to your knees, but with pain meds it isn't really that bad. Luckily for me, my urologist and I have been together for a while, so if I feel a little something, I call him, he calls in a script. Then if it gets to where I'm getting an infection or hurting too much, he goes and gets it. That sucks.
