You are missing the point. I don't care if Suarez is a count. And I don't care if other fans hate him. He's a world class player and football isn't a popularity contest. I want him on my squad when he's on form. Just like I'd want RVP, Terry, Cole, Ferdinand, Rooney or any other cunty player/personality when on form.

Agreed. Is John Terry a total douche and a miserable teammate? Of course. But I'd take his old arse in a heartbeat over our weak and porous back line. The man gives his everything for the shirt on his back, and that's what I care about.

i respect the honesty

but we both know in england its not just winning but how you do it means alot to them. Exactly why City and Chelsea are hated so much.

And we also both know how tribalism rules above all. I can name classless arse holes on every team. It is very important to win the "right" way. But there is also rampant self denial among fans that their players are heroes and can do no wrong.

Take United, for example, only because its the easiest comparison for me to make to you. Rooney, RVP, Evans, Evra, Young, Nani, etc. all have been known for actions made on and off the pitch that doesn't equate to playing or acting the "right" way. Yet the finger is always pointed in the other direction. No team is a shining example of Godliness. Everyone has their demons. However, those players all are, or have been, terrific footballers that every manager would have wanted in their prime.

Bleed... you forgot about Ferdinand kicking a female steward and his blatant disregard for the FAs drug testing policy...

Thats exactly where i was going with this. These teams are a direct reflection of the people who support it. Well thats how they see it

People get up in arms about Suarez b/c his track record is well worst than other. The diving yea its what ever. But biting not once but twice. If he leaves all that shite in his past then it will eventually be forgotten but he has proven he just can't stay out of controversy. Basically with him it has become with all teams your guy is way worse than ours and you will hear about it.

Which is why its ridiculous. What defines what is "worse?" I'd much rather someone go around biting than Shawcross or Evans potentially ending careers with deliberate and shameful tackles. The entire argument of which player is "better" is just silly. They're all douche bags. Every team has them. The only difference is that its much more justified to have one if he's breaking goal scoring records while he does his idiotic crap.

ehhhhh

it would be different if it was a sport of pure aggression like football and hockey when you need guys like that. There will always be players with shameful tackles but a player who has bitten opponent multiple times is something totally new

Yet Ivanovic said he would welcome Suarez to Chelsea, after the biting incident...

I get what you're saying. But as someone who has played the game for over 15 years, those tackles rarely happen without malicious intent. A player knows when he's making a bad tackle and does it on purpose (usually).

Yeah its childish and ridiculous. But it doesn't endanger someone's career and livelihood.

Not that I'm saying its not as bad as a bad tackle. I know I'm coming off that way. My point is just that everyone does stupid shite. We just ignore the stupid shite our players do and magnify the stupidness of other teams' players.

You are saying the same words over and over. What are you saying exactly?

1. Other fans hate Suarez. Yes this is true.

2. Suarez's bites were weird and shameful. Yes we agree.

3. You wouldn't hypothetically take a controversial player who has had lots of suspensions in the past but is capable of scoring 19 in 12 matches on your squad? Because if so I find it hard to believe and downright ridiculous. I'd also wager 90 of 100 soccer fans would welcome Suarez to their team with open arms.

And the other 10 would get over it as soon as he started banging in the goals!

This has gotten hilarious. A fan of club that rose to the top on the back of a guy that karate kicked a fan with cleats on then proceeded to punch the fan is saying that he wouldn't take Suarez cuz he bit a guy?

Get the frick outta here homey. You are full of shite. Cuz if this was true you would have to admit you are essentially ashamed of MANUres 90s resurgence and success.

This argument is retarded and your a hypocrite or a liar one of the two.

frick off

The Kings one indecent which he missed a whole year for. That no one defended now equals everything Man U did in the 90's

What he did was a disgrace 100% but after he walked the straight line and became a legend. Luis has had multiple incidents. Like i said before if nothing else happens it will be all forgotten but his track record says otherwise. Only time will tell, until then for his goals and bat shite crazy shite
