Have you found good cleats for wide feet?

I use Adidas Copa cleats that are a half size too big. Have had no problems with balance.

Only issue I’ve had with those, doing the same thing, is that I sometimes stub my toe going for shots, which torques my ankle and hurts like a mofo.

I wear fairly thick socks and wrap tape around the front of the shoe. That seems to help, but my foot still moves around occasionally, especially when one foot is planted. It seems to hurt the top of my foot more than my ankle though.

I've been thinking that adding some arch support might help too. But this is far better than the Nike Venoms I wore, which led to like 4 ankle sprains.

Most Nike cleats are much too thin for me. I liked my Tiempos a long time ago but pretty much everything since has been just hell on my feet.

I could easily see dragging your toe if your cleats are too big, especially when trying to shoot with your laces.

No that’s a toe poke. It’s what hendo is talking about. The larger size to accommodate wide feet would cause me to stub the tip when hitting with the laces. Something about the toe of the copa seems to catch on the ground more than other cleats.
