Good luck to him. He'll need it.

The Northern Irishman officially takes over at Bolton on Monday, with his first match in charge being Saturday's trip to Birmingham City.
"I've got a big job on my hands, but that's the challenge," Lennon told BBC Radio 5 live. "I'm very excited about that.
"My objective is to put right the results that have gone against us recently and get them playing a style of football that will please the Bolton fans."
...
Johan Mjallby, Lennon's number two in Glasgow, also joins the Trotters as assistant manager with Garry Parker, another who served at Celtic Park, arriving as first-team coach.
...
A statement on Bolton's website said: "The club are delighted and excited to appoint Neil Lennon. He brings with him experience at the highest level and an infectious enthusiasm to take the club forward."

There's an American in Liverpool's academy named Brooks Lennon. Just curious if there was any relation.
To Neil Lennon from Northern Ireland come on man

Not trying to be just use a little common sense.
If by chance they are related it would be distant relatives

Freedman is a pretty good manager. No clue why they were so bad. Bolton has some good players but they need help.

quote:I don't know much about either guy. For all I know, Brooks' father could have immigrated here from Northern Ireland. We have a guy playing in England with the last name Lennon. There's now a manager in England with the last name Lennon. I don't know how common that name is. Then only other Lennon I can think of off the top of my head is John.

If you don't know about Neil Lennon your footy knowledge is lacking.
I hate the fricker but he was an amazing midfielder. Sucks he wasted that many years away at Celtic.

He played for Norther Ireland and I didn't start watching club ball until about 2011 or so. I've never claimed to know much about the history of club ball.

You seem to be full of excuses.
Google and Youtube are your friend.
With that train of thought I'm not sure you really know who Graeme Souness is

Hold on
you are a Liverpool fan saying you don't know about Graeme Souness

It's a question from left field, but it's not like he asked if he was related to Aaron

Your point being...? He stopped playing for them 3 years before I was born and about 27 years before I watched my first Liverpool match.

I guess as a United fan I shouldn't know about Sir Matthew Busby

quote:I never implied anything close to that. It's excusable for a relatively new fan to not know about a guy that stopped playing 30 years ago. I only know a few people who watch soccer, none of them being Liverpool fans, so it's not like I can talk about the history with anyone. Hell, I know more NHL fans than EPL fans.
