Also, Spain has some advantage in Latin America, but it isn't dramatic on the elite squads. Using the most recent rosters, these are the breakdowns:

Brazil - 3E, 0G, 1S
Argentina - 3E, 0G, 5S
Uruguay - 2E, 0G, 4S
Paraguay - 0E, 0G, 2S
Mexico - 3E, 0G, 2S

I would be willing to bet Messi and Ronaldo wouldn't score 50 goals in the EPL.

You waited to 3.5 years to say this.

I do not think they would score 50 in a tactically different league with inferior teammates, but they would definitely still be the two best players.

I agree but this really only makes a case about the style of the leagues.
They would probably score even less in both Serie A and Ligue 1 since those leagues tend to give much less space to attacking players (according to interviews with almost every player who's played in multiple leagues I've ever heard.)

I'm not saying they aren't great players I'm just saying the style played in the EPL they aren't scoring 50 goal a season probably would be more like mid-20 goal per season range.

It's a luck based strategy, they obviously aren't as skilled as the two teams they "beat" but had 2 lucky breaks (or 5 seconds of skill from drogba if you'd prefer) and ended up being better at taking penalty kicks..

Ha you are such a baby. Still crying, really? How about me and you go round up 9 more guys and see if Barcelona will play us in a two legged tie and our strategy will be to defend our asses off. Maybe we'll get lucky and win, no? I love how in every other sport defense is celebrated and widely acknowledged as the way to win titles but in soccer it's somehow a "lucky" strategy that takes no skill. Two "lucky" breaks? What does that even mean? Keep crying. Your tears are sweet.
