Kind of crazy. Not in a million years would I guess that Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City all have better kit deals than RM and Barca.

Surely Fly Emirates and Qatar Airways have the cash to at least match the money City got from their joint kit sponsors, regardless of what Adidas/Nike gave RM/Barca. This isn't a list of world's richest clubs after all, just kit sponsorship deals.

Remember Barca pays UNICEF to have them on the back of their kit. They could cash in more if they so wanted.

The difference in what Nike pays City and how much Etihad is huge. 12 million a year and 40 million a year about to go to 80 million a year. No one else will pay that much the sponsor City so they got a company with ties to their owner.
You have to take the City numbers with a grain of salt.

I mean why? You get so butthurt about City and where the money comes from. It's there and everyone has to deal with it. It isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Alot of people do bc its basically self sponsoring themselves to get around FFP.
The Etihad deal is way more than any independent company would pay.

Well no shite but no denying it isn't shady, City has done a few things in the lets get around FFP department.
The fact Nike only pays them 12 million shows the real market value of the City brand.
