Sky Sports are tonight reporting that O’Neill has penned a two-year deal but FAI spokespeople are not yet ready to confirm that.
However, the 61-year-old has agreed to take the reins and and brings in former Ireland captain Keane as his second-in-command while Steve Walford, Steve Guppy and Seamus McDonagh are also expected to be named in the backroom team.
