Their support sucked when they played in Dallas as well

Stop holding the water for MLS all the time

Still gotta be a tough draw for a club without roots in Texas in a massive outdoor stadium for a sport that plays through the summer.

And they apparently thought moving to Southlake was a good idea at one point?

In reality, there's only one team in California that has great support and it's LAFC which is a product of their newness

LAFC is also probably in a better location than the Galaxy. Right next to Memorial Coliseum as opposed to Carson.

Absolutely. They've backed up their vision by spending money on big name, high quality players. Not to the level of Atlanta, but they're trying far more than every other expansion team this decade.

I’d say bc LA has a SSS stadium in the heart of the city and a world class training facility in the overall scope they have done better than Atlanta

This Austin move is showing nothing in vision compared to LA and ATL

Yeah. They finished it sometime last year. It's just off the interstate in Marietta. 33 acre campus, 6 practice fields (3 grass, 3 turf), 30k sf building, full service kitchen and dining room, 22' tall 1st team locker room, 6 academy locker rooms, show pitch with 2.5k seats and a viewing pavilion, sports science facility with gym + hydrotherapy pools, etc.

It’s plenty big enough

Sure, it technically works. But there can't be more than one or two fields there. I don't see how you can have much interaction between the 1st team and the upper levels of the academy or a potential future USL team.

And the club is better off having the training facility not in the middle of the city.

Thanks for the history lesson. I honestly had no idea.
