How did this work? I know season ticket holders had the option to buy and I'm sure almost all did. When did the other 35-40k tickets go on sale? All I see now are all secondary market...

They were most sold out within 20 minutes.

Gotcha, wasn't quick enough on the trigger I suppose. Thought it would be sometime this morning but when I checked at like 6:30 there was nothing.

Maybe. Or a ton of Atlanta fans. I think they probably had well under 35k available to sell. It looked like there wasn't anything available in the 100 or 200 level. Ticket prices weren't too bad.

AUFC did send out a tweet announcing when the tickets went on sale. With the game being in NJ, most Atlanta fans were watching at home, so they were able to get online pretty quickly.

There wasn't a ton of resale tickets out there last night. There's still not a ton right now. Bots may have snatched up some, but I don't think they were the reason they sold so fast.

Kind of depended on the section. I think the price went up as you got closer to midfield. I mainly looked at handicapped seats. There were some for $55 near the ends, some for $75 and maybe ~$100 near midfield.

My brother in law got us some regular tickets in section 337, row 19. Face value was $85, $103 after ticketmaster fees.
