Bang, Alonso pulls one back for aggregate's sake.
I agree with you Broski, the other night vs the Rapids was Dempsey's best performance w/ Seattle by far, up to this point.

Just one more minute...

Header right to Ricketts.

Glad that's over, started to look like Seattle had something going.

Well damn, would have loved for it to end 2-0 but I'll take a 2-1 lead headed to Jeld-Wen Field.

Luckily the return legs of both these series will be played in SSSs.
Also, we got fricked by that first goal (was offsides) but the second one was just a great finish. NE is going to bunker all night on Wednesday and I'm nervous we won't be able to win.

Yeah it will be a tough game. SKC was kinda flat toward the end of the season while New England was pretty hot. Since I don't have a team in the East I will say I think I rather have a New York and SKC Conference Final.

To be fair though, we didn't start Feilhaber, Saad, Bieler or Dwyer, all people who would have helped the attack. Bieler has barely played recently though (didn't even travel to NE) but this might be a game for him since we won't be pressuring so much since NE will surely be parking the bus.
I want to see something like this from our front 6.
Saad----Bieler---Sapong
----Feilhaber----Zusi------
---------------Uri---------------
Maybe Dwyer for Bieler, though. Sapong should be starting imo.

For the rest of us just knock them out because I don't want to see another game with football lines out there.

Houston and NY about to start. Crowd looks terrible again in Houston.

The pics I've seen look pretty much full. Plus Stuart Holden, Oliver Luck and Alex Morgan are in the house.

Still waiting on Holden and Morgan on conceive a baby. That would be the most beautiful soccer playing kid out there.

NBC just went to a commercial for The Voice. Must have forgot this was the other kind of football.

This is the first time I've watched the MLS in 3 years and I'm pleasantly surprised by how much better the quality of soccer is. Watching the Red Bulls right now, and they're actually pretty good. There was one little back heel give and go in the midfield a few minutes ago that was gorgeous.
Just as I say that NYRB put in number two on a perfect EPL quality finish. Very good stuff.

Goal by Alexander. But yeah I'd nominate Cahill for MVP.

This season I've watched on average a match per week and I've enjoyed it a lot. Sometimes it's a little frustrating when they string together 5 horrific first touches in a row, but all in all it's very watchable stuff. That was a lethal 2nd goal. Houston really isn't even that bad, especially defensively.

Terrific finishing. Never thought he'd go near post because I just assumed there was no way he could get his plant foot that far around. Fun to watch.
