Nope. LA Galaxy has actually aged well i think because it it carries history now.
I actually think its up there with Columbus Crew/Seattle Sounders for the best names. Timbers is great too. Rapids is too on the nose and doesnt sound like a team, just sounds like you are talking about the river. SC>FC. Putting SC after the city rather than before the city is better. I hate the uneccessary SC after a traditionally american name like Seattle Sounders FC.
