Interesting half. We came out and started strong but Spurs did a great job of settling down and taking control until last 5 min
Only real threat though was the Eriksen free kick outside the box. I was thinking right before the goal that we have to make Spurs pay for sloppy turnovers which we had failed to do until that corner. Also seems like I’ve barely heard Kane’s name at all
Keita has been pretty quiet too besides his block in the box. VVD continues to be a beast at the back and thought Firmino had a great half as well

When it happened, I didn’t think VVD would be this good for Pool. I wanted him, bad.
Can’t blame him for having a destination in mind and not being swayed by cash and a half season medal.
I’m very happy with Laporte, he’s perhaps our best actual defender at the moment, he’s left footed and I love his cunty attitude, but I do wonder what City’s backline would look like had VVD picked us.
