The Union have come such a long way from where they were 4 years ago. They stuck with Jim Curtin through some bad seasons, and now he’s built them an excellent team this year. I still don’t think they’re legit MLS Cup contenders, but they’re certainly in good shape to finally make a playoff run.
DC United has been really disappointing, on the other end. They were supposed to be contenders this year. Teams have shut down Lucho Acosta this year and Rooney doesn’t get enough help.
