Match Day 9/4 | UEFA Qualifiers

LOLsu. Rice krispies and a banana.
UEFA qualifying begins today and will be the only qualifying action today and tomorrow before 4 confederations have games on Tuesday to close the international days in this go-round.
Russia have qualified as hosts and will play regular friendlies throughout the qualifying tournament. The remaining 54 associations will complete for a total of 13 berths at Russia 2018.
With the inclusion of Kosovo and Gibraltar to FIFA membership, there are nine groups of six teams each. The winner of each group qualifies directly to Russia 2018. The top eight runners-up will playoff for the final four qualifying berths in November 2017.
When determining the eight best runners-up, despite all groups having the same number of teams, the results against the sixth-placed team in each group will still be thrown out. These results, however, will count toward the overall standings within each group.
Group C
San Marino - Azerbaijan, 11 a.m. (ESPN3)
Czech Republic - Northern Ireland, 1:45 p.m. (ESPN3)
Norway - Germany, 1:45 p.m. (FS2)
Group E
Denmark - Armenia, 11 a.m. (FS2)
Kazakhstan - Poland, 11 a.m. (ESPN3)
Romania - Montenegro, 1:45 p.m. (ESPN3)
Group F
Lithuania - Slovenia, 11 a.m. (FS+)
Slovakia - England, 11 a.m. (ESPN3)
Malta - Scotland, 1:45 p.m. (FS+)

Armenia has no Mkhitaryan and they look like shite. A draw would be a great result.

Kazakhs got dicked by AR. Great set piece move but flag went up incorrectly. Timed it to perfection.
Lithuania laying down the Baltic hammer up 2-0 on Slovenia.

Emin Makhmudov made the switch internationally from Russia to Azerbaijan. Should be a good player for them.

Need to make a statement. Playing in England's group they can't afford the kinds of point-dropping derps they usually pull against the Maltas of the world. Group is there to finish 2nd unless Slovakia step up.

Julian looked super pissed he didn't get to tap that in. But Müller needed a goal in a bad, bad way.
