I think you're over thinking it too much... Sure Pep likes to play a certain way, but I think he's smart enough to take a very talented group of players and challenge for the title in a very average league...
That said, he will make a few key signing and be right there in the title hunt next year.. and Im sure he'll mold the squad in his vision over the next couple of years
