Nah. Stayed around 14 most of the day. I didn't see what it did in late trading.

I thought about buying one share of it just for the heck of it.

Me too. But I need more than 1 share. I owned 2000 shares about 10 years ago and it was big fun telling people I owned shares in United. Made me much more passionate also.

2000 shares are impressive. I'm a poor college kid, though.

Back then the shares were about $2.50 each.

Final friendly a 4-3 win over the Hannover 96 Fighting Cherundolos. Great comeback for our Devils, a Rooney double and a Kagawa winner.

I freaking love Kagawa. Our defense needs some work, but this should give us momentum heading into Monday Night Football in 9 days with Everton.

Today is supposedly "the day" for Van Persie.

This will ease the pain of us not going after a defensive mid or a right back, fo' sho'.

We will see what happens, I haven't watched all the preseason but caught at least some of all the games and our D is what needs help. I feel like if we could just get a makelele/toure type we would be set. Still have hope for p jones solidifying the RB position going forward.....

That's where he should play. Not saying that we should give up on Rafael, but I have high hopes for Phil.

Need a defensive midfielder to round out the 4-4-2:

------Rooney----RVP------

Nani----Kagawa---????----Valencia

Evra----Vidic-----Ferdinand-----Jones/Rafael

In this formation, Kagawa is the offensive-minded center mid while Mr. Squiggles is the defensive-minded one. You can't just throw Cleverley or Anderson in that spot, they are more like backups for Kagawa.

Who do we put there? Fletcher? Scholes? This is where Joao Moutinho would've wrecked for us. I'm kinda glad we lost out on Lucas Moura, we need a strong defensive midfielder first.

The addition of RVP and Kagawa takes the playmaking duties off of Rooney. He can concentrate on just scoring goals. Welbeck and Chicharito are great backups for the pair. Kagawa can be that advanced playmaker. Use Young, Valencia and Nani as a rotation in the wings. This is the formation where you can still use RVP and Rooney, not change from Fergie's 4-4-2, and start winning ballgames.

Priority #1 would be getting that other center mid if you could, #2 would be cover for Evra. I think the reason we didn't go after a RB this summer is that Phil Jones (or Rafael) is the future for us at that position. Just needs grooming there. You've got a good bit of depth on defense. Priority #3 would be repeating #1. Go get a great defensive mid to cover for this aging but world-class defensive line.

The beauty of this deal is that we have a young English stud waiting in case RVP becomes Old RVP, and Chicharito is still hanging around.

I love this deal. Top two goal scorers in the league, together? It'll take some matches to get their chemistry down, but then the world better get ready for the great White Man attack.
