I'm liking this De Gea acquisition...think he will take his lumps early on...I was reading a stat where he gave up the most long goals in La Liga last year...

Im sure he'll develop into a fine GK...

De Gea will probably be Spain's number 1 before Pepe Reina

Only because Iker and Pepe are so close in age...

Hopefully, the EPL sends De Gea back to Spain a broken man...

I don't think you can find a 20 year old goal keeper that doesn't make mistakes, without even considering the pressure of playing for United.

He'll be fine in the long run.

Not saying he won't...but until then, hopefully he concedes many goals...

dear god i hope he improves. obviously he will, he is still very young but with this much pressure and giving up goals like that in the BPL the media and fans will really have no mercy on him. that could really get into his head.

i almost know what its like to have almunia or fabianski in goal now.

Well, that yellow card on Young doesn't help the ol' fantasy team at all.

Kid has flashes of brilliance followed by huge flashes of diarrhea of the brain.

Kid's got skills, but needs to move his feet.
