This is so frustrating, Arsenal simply wont shoot till they get very close. Schematically they took off Walcott who wasn't a liability for someone in Arshavin who has not been involved at all. They leave on RVP who cant provide the height for crosses and then bring on their target man only to have him play on the wing. What is Wenger thinking? How are these subs more beneficial for getting a goal than leaving Jack and Theo out there?

I think that's the plan. No one else available as true attacking threats.

Wenger had Chamakh warming up at the 55 minute mark, and brought on Beowulf at the 80th minute mark only to have him play the wing.

I simply don't get it.

talking about on the bench.
Ryne, nil nil city looked very shaky for 30 minutes, got in the game by half and since then have defended very well. To be fair, arsenal are not playing their best football.

City have had I think one maybe 2 at most semi opportunities. Arsenal hit post twice, and got denied by an absolutely amazing save by Hart.

They have had countless opportunities but City have had at least 6 back on defense the entire game, and at least 8 back this second half.

God damnit, Sagna being an idiot there. At least we don't play anyone good coming up.

Arshavin fricking sucks. He has cost more goals than he has scored this season.
