BTW, if you're an iphone user you can visit the Official Liverpoolfc.com calendar download page, and download a subscription to your iphone that adds every single LFC fixture to your phone's calendar and converts the kickoff time to your time zone!

Something like that. I would say possibly Suso instead of Sahin. With Henderson, Shelvey, and Cole playing the midfield trident, and Suso and Assaidi supporting Yesil as the three forwards.

Were people expecting him to put out a weak team? Not that he has anything against Rodgers but I'm sure the supporters wouldn't be too happy if he put out the 2nd team against the former manager

Not really. But their first team has been regressing recently, partly because of lack of fitness.
