Anyone else run around the house with the late "offsides", celebrating the goal. Only to look up a minute later and see play still going on and no change in score?

The roof blew off of Finn's. Then all the Bitters laughed at us.

Also, on another note: I'm reading the post-match thread on TIA, and somebody said Dowd was the 4th official and shook his head in disgust at the Suarez celebration. More fuel for the biased/conspiracy fire.

Supposedly Moyes' daughter tweeted she was surprised her dad didn't head butt Suarez, and shortly after deleted it...

ould Torres' suspension be 1 or 3? I thought 2 yellows = 1

Chelsea thread just cleared it up. Apparently they gave Torres a straight red for the dive and he got another red jawing at the 4th official on his way off the field.

What I'm surprised about is that he didn't pull his captain off of the field after all of his bullshite self-righteous drivel this week. What a fricking hypocritical bitch. To think I used to have a lot of respect for him.

I'm also don't think Suarez dove once.

He had a few different runs with a lot of contact in the box and refused to go down.

I much prefer him when he's like that - a machine that is so driven to get and keep the ball that you'll have to throw him in order to get him off the ball.

Yes he did, you didn't see him take a dive right in front of Moyes after the first goal

Honestly, only dive he made all game. It was so refreshing for once.

That it was, he was a man on a mission today, shame that it didn't work out for the better.

Someone else followed this by saying Macca claimed the offsides/foul call was made by Dowd as the 4th official. This wouldn't explain the offsides flag, but it certainly would seem sketchy, especially after his reaction to Suarez's celebration.

I certainly saw the line judge raise his flag. It was very late, but he certainly made the call.

Can't wait for the next time Dowd calls a LFC match..

I did too, which is why I have no idea what they're referring to. I couldn't hear Macca at the bar, so I don't know why he would say something about Dowd making a call into the headset after the goal.

I was watching at home and didn't hear Macca say that, granted I was celebrating the apparent goal at the time so I wasn't really paying attention.

Side note: Phil Neville has easily become my favorite announcer. Very unbiased and truly insightful knowledge.

Just went off on how atrocious it was. He also went off on his brother for diving.

Regardless of the team he played for, he is extremely fair in his analysis. For the United/LFC match he had nothing but praise for Rodgers and the club. He also praises Sterling anytime he commentates one of our games.
