Good news, we drew Derby in the Cup and they are coached by Eustace so we won’t have to worry about future rounds being a distraction from the survival push.

Kinda liked the DCL/Okafor combo.

Pretty sure Leeds are going to sell Piroe to one of the championship teams with funds pushing for playoffs/autos
Most likely Ipswich if I had to guess
Would allow them to bring in someone else who could play multiple spots up front for flexibility I assume

Don’t want to see Willy go.
Already know we’ll drag it out til the 11th hour and end up in the desperation loan market.

Who is the most likely to continue being in the scrap with us (non recently promoted teams, besides Wolves)? Are west ham and Fulham similar to Crystal Palace from a few years ago where there team was solid, just playing awful (along with a bad schedule) and they figured it out the last few months and blew past the relegation zone.
I guess what I’m asking is WH/Fulham/Forrest/Brentford bad enough to truly be down with us, or are they good enough to get it figured out and blow past us and we’re essentially already relegated (without major, continued collapses) without Sunderland being anywhere close.

I think it’s still pretty early but what happens in January will probably make a huge difference. It’s good that there’s still a little cluster of shite/potentially shite teams and not just 3 standout dogshit teams like we’ve seen recently.

quote:West Ham - already sacked their manager and purchased poorly in the summer apparently. Have some pretty size able issues in midfield, imagine they will spend money in January but can they get it right?
WH/Fulham/Forrest/Brentford bad enough to truly be down with us
Fulham - Didn’t invest much in the summer if I remember correctly, gaffer won’t sign an extension with them. If that leads them to sack him then all bets are off for them
Forrest - I think Dyche will do enough to keep them up, but their owner is bat shite so if he gets a wild hair who knows
Brentford - They seem to think their manager is a fraud and will drop matches so perhaps they can be in the mixer
All of this is just my opinion of course and means nothing

West Ham and Forest both with halftime leads so a draw will likely be needed to get out of the bottom 3.
Archie had a mare leading to the Forest goal.

Would be happy with a draw at their place, they have played well this season when at home.
Just hope we don’t revert to the passive toothless away performances we saw before man city second half

I didn’t know Ian Darke does TNT/USA games, I’ve only heard him doing La Liga on ABC/ESPN recently.
