I missed the last 15 minutes, anything noteworthy?

Agreed. Should have put a few more away. Feels good to be back in the top 5 and being able to google "Championship Table" and seeing Leeds in that top group and not having to "See More"

We created a couple more chances but pretty much saw it out well

Side note, LSU defense still sucks

Hot garbage
2020 was obviously worse but they had way better talent
I’d kill for Flott, Jay Ward, Jacoby Stevens, Baskerville etc

Hell I’d take Tepper’s personnel over this.

Rewatched the game baws
Archie was so good at RB. Bell from Bristol is a serious player
As long as we keep creating quality chances the finishing will come

What’re our chances at top 2? Obviously Leicester will probably be there, is Ipswich supposed to be where they are as well, or is there some hope that they could fall back to earth?

Hopefully they slow down soon. Leicester will probably stay up there. After this next international break the table might evolve a little with how many games there are between Halloween and new year.

Continuing this pace is impossible for those top two teams, if they did they would both break the record for points scored in tGoatship.
Eventually they will take on injuries or have a bump in form. I will say I believe Ipswich is playing over their level right now. They have been out scoring sides for their wins and not really playing solid defense.

It’s time for Firpo to emulate Georgi, Struijk and tIceman and start his redemption arc

Will the Firpo redemption arc simply be able to play let’s say 10 matches in a row without missing because of injury?

In news that may come as a total shock—I’ll give y’all time to sit down— Barcelona still owes us like 90% of the raphinha fee
Posted on 10/10/23 at 10:59 am to S
Wait I thought the old board said they got the fee upfront to avoid this and that’s why they took a smaller number?

Nonetheless, it took plenty of pairs of hands and plenty of voices to make the window work. Gretar Steinsson, Leeds’ technical director, was the key influence in persuading Swansea City to sell Joel Piroe for £10.5million ($12.9m). Calls made direct to Swansea’s ownership, rather than to their recruitment department, set the wheels in motion. Angus Kinnear, Leeds’ CEO, was able to use a good relationship with Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to make loans for Joe Rodon and Djed Spence happen — Rodon’s from a starting point of Spurs asking for a permanent bid in the region of £15m.
From Phil’s column today
15m for Rodon would be a nice deal for both sides if we go up
