None of them really had spectacular seasons but that's an immense exaggeration.

Matri and Vucinic would start for all but a handful of teams; Vuci arguably anywhere if he had his head in the game all the time.

Not to mention that a bench with Quagliarella, Borriello and Del Piero etc and with Pepe also able to play up top and the luxury of simply not playing Krasic may not be Manchester City but it's closer than even mid-table.

When the rest of the squad is really good a finisher is what is needed up top. The hardest thing in the game is putting the ball in the net. Matri does that.
