I'm sure they will ask his opinion on things like managers, players, style of play, etc. He's not going to hold a title like Director of Football Operations or anything like that. Just a consultant.

99.9% of every software consultant I've ever worked with directly affected the day to day operations of software development.
So I'd assume you are telling me that they are going to consult him on soccer matters....but he won't affect day to day operation? Again I ask what they hell are they paying him for them?
