Isco´s second goal today was exquisite. Zidane commented that he´d like to watch RM´s fourth goal over and over.

I think he´s definitively on the Asensio train, and RM is going to be seeing what Isco is worth on the market (as I´m sure Francisco wants to play a pivotal role somewhere).

RM´s back to getting serious about matches, after the 5-1 drubbing of Legia in CL play.

It was quite clear that the play time given to many left a porous midfield from a defensive standpoint, and Danilo has only one direction, forward. Marcelo was cured of this, we hope this happens with Danilo, as well.

Zidane knows a less than stellar Athletic still has bite, and are tough.

Four changes for the disastrous eleven which nevertheless prevailed in a blowout.

Isco
Kovacic
Carvajal
Morata

Still not the optimum eleven, but Zidane wants the plantel to know there are no automatics, and all are top notch.

Kovacic will give Modric rest, as will Morata, Benzema.

Carvajal is stout on D, which will be needed.

Isco is Isco, but I´m worried we´re going to lose him, as he a feature player, and will not be under Zidane.

Zidane knows players, their temprament, and their hunger, but I don´t think Isco will stay with intermittent activity (and cannot blame him, I personally love him, and he´s shown he can lead in the CL at the tender young age of 20).

I think this activity (or lack of) is beating down his price, as well.

As of today, the only undefeated club of the five top leagues is Real Madrid.

Capello: Zidane is doing a fantastic job. The whole world would love to have to decide between Benzema and Morata. Benzema starts, he´s the protected step child of Pérez, and Morata saves the day. Zidane is doing a bang up job.
