I’m such a sucker for the old Nike logo and I can’t figure out why

I thought the same thing when looking at the Roma kit.

I’m gay so I will definitely get one.

Seeing the City third actually on the players in press photos, it’s not as awful as I initially thought.

That’s some funny shite. The actual shirt is class. Umbro have been doing good work.

Yeah, that kit is awesome... Props to Umbro (and Paddy Power) for pulling a fast one on the internet

And it's the opposite extreme, no sponsor logo on the front at all
For a team not even in the Premiership that seems like it would be financial suicide.

It was apparently a request from the sponsor (the kit is still sponsored, the logo just isn't on it)... Paddy Power has some "Save our Shirt" campaign. So they're paying to "Unsponsor" Huddersfield

Nice. Good on PaddyPower.
I can get down with that.

Think the idea is they’ll generate buzz by not having a sponsor on the shirt. I’m also sure their stadium and everything that’s not the shirt will be inundated with PaddyPower logos.

Leeds went sponsorless in 2015-16 because Cellino though Enterprise Insurance was trying to screw the club. Mirco Antenucci TYFYS

Sponsorless looks so much better for the most part.
Posted on 7/19/19 at 8:44 am to McCaigBro69
I disagree
I actually like the sponsors
Unless they have Chinese lettering on it
Having an Arab Airline on your shirt just seems like a power move

Or in their case as well.
An investment bank , although not quite the BB, still a power move
Waiting for JPM or Goldman to get on board

Capital One Cafe future Liverpool shirt sponsor. Sign me up.
Now that I think about it, Standard Chartered is a large bank, so I guess Liverpool are already ahead of the curve with the power moves.
