Is Klinsmann doing it on purpose

I'm not defending him just trying to learn through debate.
Just think if this is all part of his plan. He can't recreate a Works Cup game experience. And he can't change the teams we must play to qualify for Workd Cup. USA is in CONCACAF. Not the strongest or deepest federations. It's like playing in one of the non power 5 in college basketball and cruising through conference over gimme teams then getting crushed in playoffs. Maybe Klonsmann is try to create this drama and pressure and stress by moving guys around. Forcing them to play at a disadvantage in games. And add the stress and pressure of barely making it. And having these "must win" games. So when real pressure of Works Cup comes team is better off? It's like winning a bunch of close games and knowing how to grind out a win seems to help versus blowing out every team. You get tested
Or he might just be an idiot

Having to grind out out CONCACAF WCQF matches isnt unique to a Jurgen Klinsmann managed USMNT.
Its been the way for a long time.

I know it's been that way. Why I was wondering if he does it on purpose. When it comes to must wins and WC games he doesn't seem to "experiment " as much and we play well.

He's not doing it on purpose, if "it" means losing to Guatemala. He isn't making the roster screw ups on purpose.
He is probably putting them in difficult situations on purpose.

That's what I'm saying. He's purposely putting them in difficult situations. making them more experienced in difficult situations so in World Cup team is better prepared
