I would like to see that too but don't we suck at 4-3-3?

It'd put a lot of pressure on the Mids. I mean if JK isn't worried about trying new things. Which is evident. I wouldn't have minded him trying it last year/previously. I don't like drastic altering of our lineups all the time in WCQ time.

My only problem with that is where does Jermaine jones play? I think we need him in our midfield.

I do too. I think he is the best deep passer on the team. But, It's hard to put him in the lineup if you do a 4-3-3.
You could do a 4-5-1 with him as a CDM. I think he'd excel in that role.

The problem seems to be that Jozy needs a second striker, but we don't really have that guy. Also, a two striker formation does not really seem to gel with the rest of our guys.
As of now, it seems like this is one of our better options:
Howard
Clusterfrick
Bradley Jones
Donovan/Zusi ??? Dempsey
Altidore
It is pathetic how unsettled this squad is. I hate watching them play.

You mean when he scored one goal in 28 appearances?
You obviously didn't watch him that season. Please name for me other 19 year old target strikers who were prolific goalscorers. Like I said, that season was excellent for his development. He learned to play with his back toward goal, learned how to earn fouls against good CB's, and played through a goal scoring drought. It was a loan spell that was excellent for his development.

the one goal he did score was fricking fantatsic.
and the answer to the OP is "every dutch player ever circa 2000-2008"

Yep. Against Man City. Set up by the best name in soccer, Jan Vennegor of Hessalink. Jozy also set up a bunch of chances with good hold up play and getting fouled in dangerous areas.

Landon Donovan

Could Landon play up front with Jozy? I guess why not because he provides great service and he is a phenomenal finisher. Not to mention he almost never wastes a cross when he takes corners.
It just seems like Landon is entrenched at rw. I just want him entrenched on the pitch. Until then, Klinsmann is an idiot in my book.

He has played as a second striker for the national team in the past, but he might be less suited for it as he grows older and loses his ability to accelerate.
Since Juergen loves to frick around, and has the entire Gold Cup to do it, I wouldn't mind seeing him stick Landon up there in a front two.
At the end of the day, this is still the same guy who brought Landon to Bayern for no fricking reason whatsoever. Hopefully, they can rekindle their bromance.

Didn't watch it. The only thing that I remember seeing from that tournament is Marc-Vivien Foe
