Anyone know if Al Jazeera has an online on demand service like FS.TV?
I want to keep up with Roma, but Fox lost the rights, and I don't have DirecTV.

Buying dtv. Like 42 a month for the first year. Was paying 20 last year just for fsc2go.

Direct Tv is just an overall better epxerience than cable. If you have the extra capital, and a place to put a dish just make the switch.
Only thing that sucks is their internet is through the roof, so you don't get bundling deals. Direct TV and Xfinity internet.

I get Cox cable free so I'm not gonna get a dish, too. I'll try to catch as many illegal feeds live as I can, I guess.

I hope in the near future BeIN will have an online demand service but, at this point, it seems you have to be a Direct Tv or Dish network customer to have even online access.
I actually just bit the bullet and signed up for Direct TV this week.
It may turn out to be for the better in future but the change really sucks right now. Serie A and La Liga (and I assume the English championship and Ligue 1) have an outside agency that negotiates their international TV rights.
It seems that the club owners are only just now realizing that they may have fricked themselves over in moving to BeIN before they had more providers. There have been a lot of "how the hell did this happen?" type quotes coming from Serie A clubs concerning the hugely diminished audience just at the time when bigger clubs are acutely aware of the growing football market in the USA and Canada (where I think there's no deal in place at all).

This is why I am shocked any league went with BeIn.
I take it that the only cable providers in the US carrying BeIN are Dish and Direc TV?

I am essentially in the same boat.
I was actually able to find a full HD stream for the Real Madrid and FC Barcelona games. Hopefully, I can at least find something halfway decent for Roma games.

Yes, those are the only two right now.
Serie A uses a third party firm to negotiate rights and that company simply accepted what was presumably a much higher offer from BeIN and clubs have only found out recently about the limited availability. There seems to be a general expression of surprise/consternation that there wasn't a slightly more complex understanding in place to account for an overwhelming bid coming from a network with limited distribution.

This was what I assumed the case to be. Thats a real shame though.
