How big of a deal is it to have Coventry City back in the Premiere League?

Just watched a great doc on em, seems to be a great story.

New to soccer and seeing how big of a jump this was for them.

These promotion stories are awesome.

Guess sort of like the Jets making the playoffs.

I am so confused as to whether Frank Lampard is a good coach.

Does anything top Luton Town in recent years?

Fanbase has been talking A LOT of shite to Sunderland fans online as we had quite a rivalry with them in the promotion year. I hope they go straight back down.

Their rise and fall is crazy. It seems like they are never in the same division for more than a year. From premiere to 3rd division and back up to one.

It's slightly different in that Luton is a small club with a storyline ground etc.

But Coventry fans have been through the absolute ringer the last 10-20 years, they've been kicked out of their ground twice having to ground share with Northampton and Birmingham City and almost certainly should have been liquidated at one point. So a lot of fans will be happy for them as we've seen plenty of clubs run into the ground by owners who don't give a shite and not recover.

Bournemouth being where they are is incredible. This is an area that was part of Hampshire until 1974 when it was transferred to Dorset. They were an afterthought to Portsmouth and Southampton. It's incredible what they've been able to accomplish.
