my mistake, point stands. Cameron has put in the best two performances at RB since Spector in the Confed Cup.

Cherundolo is a great American, and likely one of our top 5 players all time. BUT the man is 34 years old, and has been injured on and off for the past 2 years.

A healthy Cherundolo's effectiveness is probably best defined by opponent.
I doubt seriously that Carlo Costly would have back heel nutmegged Cherundolo like he did Timmy Chandler. And Costa Rica really didn't use width on the outside at all.
But I also think Gio and Aquino would have given him trouble with pace.
Cherundolo is also at least as capable of delivering set pieces as the folks we've tried so far.
