Dynamo will have Fly Emirates as a jersey sponsor on a 5 year contract.
Not 100% confirmed but pretty confident.
I'm glad for the Dynamo. But what kind of kick in business can a Dubai based airline get out of sponsoring a Houston based team? They must be a lot more active in U.S. air travel that I realized.

Houston is all energy and oil. They have daily flights to Houston from Dubai.
Also. They are about to start flying the A380 to Houston

Pretty cool that my two teams, Arsenal and the Dynamo, have the same sponsor.

yeah, time to blow this team up and start over, maybe keep davis boniek and hall. The top tier MLS teams have blown past us this year
Also saw that the emirates thing may be a false leak.

Yeah I heard the info two days ago. Got out everywhere yesterday. The dynamo are leaking misinfo one way or the other.
But I've never been told wrong info. And others I've talked to have been told the same about emirates. Even as long ago as a couple weeks ago.
I guess we will see tomorrow

Bump for the new fans.
We really suck right now. Jump on the bandwagon before we get good again!

He's an a-hole because he started the year well. Then went back to his shite tactic self.
The only players I want back next year are Sarkodie, Barnes, Davis, Boni, the two rookies and Ashe. Maaaaaybe Rico. The rest can get fricked

I went to my first game at BBVA Compass Stadium this weekend.
I enjoyed it and the fact that there was a good crowd made it more interesting.
It seemed "whiter" than games at Robertson. Maybe the location changed the demographics a bit. I imagine more uppity Katy and Spring people would rather go downtown than to UofH. The stadium itself is gorgeous and incredibly intimate.
I kind of have more nostalgia for Robertson though, because it had a certain aesthetic with the disconnected stands, palm trees and shitty concessions. It reminded me of what a Mexican stadium would be without murder.
The standing up for corners tradition is very childish, especially considering free kicks aren't given the same treatment.

@DarrellLovell: .@HoustonDynamo have struck a deal with TFC for top allocation spot expected to be used on DaMarcus Beasley. Player traded being withheld.
Done deal folks. I have a sad suspicion they traded away Ashe

do we get anything else if we trade ashe? or is it just a straight up trade for the allocation spot?
Posted on 7/23/14 at 11:39 am to leoj
More than likely straight up as they can't afford to take on a player and get Beasley. Doubt Toronto has any allocation funds left and Dom has a known dislike of trading for draft picks.

this guy used to work out at the gym I go to. He was always decked out, head to toe, in Portland Timbers gear.

apparently it's Creavalle, but not confirmed. Does Ashe move to RB?
