Gündogan May See Arsenal and Man U interfere in his Real Madrid Arrival

Ilkay Gündogan has decided against renewing his contract with Borussia Dortmund, which expires in 2015, and still harbours strong intentions of signing for Real Madrid next summer.
'Los Blancos' have the basis of an agreement with Dortmund, who have accepted that the German international will leave the club. Gündogan would be the natural substitute for Xabi Alonso, whose contract expires this summer and who still hasn't renewed. The German would form part of a complete Real Madrid midfield, together with Illarramendi, Casemiro, Khedira and Modric.
According to 'Punto Pelota', representatives from Real Madrid have got in contact with Borussia Dortmund again to demonstrate their interest. The club made contact after learning that Arsenal and Manchester United could be about to join the race for his signature.
Madrid would be ready to pay up to 30 million euros for the 22-year-old , who will only have one year left on his contract in the summer.

If/when he becomes a Galactico, congrats. He's a brown skinned Schweinsteiger, except he actually started his career in the middle of the park instead of out on the wings.

Yep, we should go back to slave labor. We shouldn't be allowing these people to choose where they are paid to play. Absolute horse shite in my opinion.

they will have plenty of players, just like they do this season. For some reason everyone on the board thought they would suck this season also. Don't know why.

i never thought i'd say this, but I'd rather us not spend that kind of scrilla on Gundogan considering Rambo is beginning to reach his potential.
IG isn't a "natural substitute" for Xabi either, but he would probably pair well with all those listed.
Also, Khedira had some Jose-about-ManU circa last year-esque quotes about us and Ozil recently. he's out of contract after next season, I believe.

Would assume that it might be something lost in translation since Illarramendi is basically a FIFA regen of Xabi

Yeah, he's hardly a Xabi substitute. He's kinda short and fat, but he's definitely a play maker and has done pretty well when playing CAM in a pinch.
