. Do you think the African cup of nations is also a joke?
The biggest joke of all tournaments. At least they finally moved it from the beginning of the year.

Imagine that still being in the beginning of the year. LFC woulda lost Mo, Mane, Keita
City would’ve wrapped up the league in March

Question for those of you have been to USMNT games, what is best way to get tickets? Is Seatgeek fine?
Posted on 4/23/19 at 9:29 am to lionward2014
I always used ticket master
but USMNT tickets are way over priced, but from a USSF perspective the business model makes sense. Over charge your own fans and the visting fans. Bc no matter what those latin america fans will pay what ever the price to see their team. USSF could give two shits if away fans take over the stadium
went to the gold cup down in dallas two years ago paid like $75 a ticket and wasn't even lower level. For comparison i paid less than $40 for lower level England vs Scotland WC qualifer.

I don't think USSF sets the price on tickets for the Gold Cup.

You would be silly to think USSF doesn't have a say in ticket prices bc we host the tourny every fricking time. Even then all USMNT matches are over priced.

I figured they would be on the expensive side, but as long as I can get in the stadium for ~$100 it'll be fine.
Wasn't sure if it made sense to sign up for AO to get tickets or normal ticket buying methods were fine.

AO will ensure you will get the best bang for you buck in terms of seats location.
Last Gold Cup we didn't use them bc before i could get the groups tickets through them another guy went ahead and jumped the gun and got them.
If you ever do a US away match AO is def the way to go.

We may have a say, but do you think CONCACAF doesn't want to make as much money as possible?

Because we're one of three countries that could realistically host it.
Also, I got lower bowl tickets in Nashville in 2017 for ~$60. And except for the semis and final, your ticket will let you see two games.

I wish both semis were still back to back. Went to them in Atlanta in 2015. Got upper deck seats right behind the goal. I don't think we paid that much for them. Got to see US/Jamaica and Mexico/Panama.

Jamaica and Costa Rica will both host 2 games this year.

Yeah I did the same for the 2013 one at AT&T. US and Honduras followed by Mexico and Panama.
Like 15 of us went, bought tickets on the 35-yd for both matches for like $100.
