I hate debating religion. No good for either side comes out of it. More divisiveness, which America and the world is full of already.

Understandable. I always love a good debate though. Its in my line of work.

Yeah, and maybe my definition of debate is different from others'.

I'll rephrase: I hate when people argue for the sake of arguing over a sensitive topic that we're never all going to agree on and nothing positive could possibly come out of.

NOW. I'M. DONE.

i agree with that, but debating with civil people is fun. lot's of positives come from it. this is not me saying everyone here is civil, btw

I guess my problem is when people get uncivil, which has happened a lot in my experiences.

I'd just like to throw this out to the SB. I'm always open to changing my mind on things. I never go into an argument unwilling to see the other side of it and I never take it personally. Dead serious.

That being said, frick every single one of you that hate Luis Suarez.

The 2010 World Cup was around where I started really getting into soccer and I was hoping Uruguay did well (outside of the US) because of Forlan. Furthermore, I wanted them to break Ghana's heart after those shits beat the US.

Then, the bad arse handball sealed the deal for me. The best part was another poster always talked about this situation and he hoped the player would take the auto red. That is where I started to praise Suarez.

Just for the record, my problem is not with religion. It's with the extremist poster that throws Celtic shite in our face constantly. Honestly, I'd probably root for Celtic if it weren't for that terrorist. Every team in every sport has bad fans. It's the blind eye that of the guy that bothers me. His views are extreme, over the top and extremely hate filled. That's the problem I have.

eligious affiliation of sports teams is goofy. Sure, you can have faith-based people running the show or suiting up for you, but actively affiliating your club with a certain denomination or religion in general is dumb. It alienates.

Why do you hate the Israeli national team and/or Jewish people in general?

That has more to do with sympathy to the West Bank's captive status than anything. They can relate to being ruled by another country.
