We played Jordan Morris over him. Seems pretty stupid.

Because Gio was both injured and acting like a bitch.
I don’t get the hate over this. Story after story shows Gio was not acting appropriately for the occasion. Gregg could play the guy who refused to even attempt the conditioning that other players, who busted their asses, did during training, and risk losing the locker room, or he could play a different albeit less talented player. If Gio actually tried instead of pouting then he would be playing ahead of Morris. Y’all direct your frustrations at Gregg and Morris but really you should be mad at Gio for acting the way he did.

Yeah. So mad. It’s why I poked fun at your absurd comment.
Where do you get all this information. Did you just make it up?

Someone didn't read the investigation.

Coach is a half-wit moron. More on the Days Of Our Lives at 10am.

I did. Link me to where this information was in the results of the investigation. I haven’t seen any of this, and it seems like pure speculation and rumors.

A link to the 40 page pdf is provided in the other thread on the topic. It’s a pretty quick read. I also included the relevant quotes you’re asking about.

You sure you want to go down the road of defending Gregger’s coaching?

You can both be right.
He was bad in the World Cup (where it mattered the most).
But he was also good at creating the team we have now and winning two tournaments with a very young team
Bonus: he helped tear down USSF. And hopefully it will be for naught

Can I defend the results without defending the coaching? He did everything that was asked of him, but people want to keep moving the goalposts about what constitutes success for a US manager. Defense was great throughout his tenure. Offense not so much. This we can agree on.

I love how the argument in defense of the Reyna's has devolved to "Yeah... but... but... Gregg's coaching" while purposefully ignoring the context, because all of the other talking points got torpedoed by the investigation report.
Posted on 3/15/23 at 10:18 am to cwil177
Agreed, he did what was expected, nothing more.
Posted on 3/15/23 at 10:26 am to Alyosha
He did better than I expected with regards to dual nationals. Dest, Musah, and Tillman in particular.

Can you morons just insult each other and not provide a verbal programming guide? Good grief…
