Ozil needs to chill out. Game's going how I thought it would pretty much. If Ozil's touch is there, Germany may have 2 goals.

I wish Muller was playing, even though Trochowski has been alright.

Spain is playing some absolutely BEAUTIFUL soccer right now. Their passing and movement is just awesome to watch AND they are creating chances. One of these times they are going to get that critical last touch and bury one.

Spain has been boring most of the game. They've had some nice balls into the box, but their passing around midfield isn't very fun to watch.

No doubt. He has had two good chances and his passing has been sub-par for him.

They are missing his creativity for sure.

Seems as if Germans (without Muller) are content with absorbing pressure and then wait for the 2 or 3 dangerous counters. Lahm has rarely pushed forward at all. ze Germans looked a little tight to start the game

If Spain is lofting balls into the air, they won't score. Those balls on the ground is what is going to work for them.

That's typical of the Spanish style. They need to keep the ball as much as possible because they look retarded on defense. What infuriates me about Spain is the lack of movement into the box. And the fact they prefer to do all their combo play 35 yards from goal.

Germany's counter attack has del Bosque shitting himself. If Ozil's first touch doesn't let him down, that would have been a great chance. Germany isn't going to try to out-possess Spain, that's stupid.

It seems like they haven't created much of anything. Maybe 1 or 2 good chances but other than that, for the amount of posession they had they should've at least created more opportunities.

It's either going to be long-range or set piece for this one.

Were there any yellow cards yet?
