The movement of Germany has been awful
Posted on 6/9/12 at 2:33 pm to Crede15
you can tell something is restricting them. They need to cut loose.

Germany just doesn't look that great overall.
let's give portugal some credit
nani and ronaldo look very threatening. that's going to reign in any offense

Portugal: great D, great flanks. This matchup plays to their strength. They could steal this one.

Germany needs to wake the frick up. They are miles better than this Portugal team.

I think they'll be much more assertive in the second half, and create a fast goal. But I think this one ends 1-1 with Portugal finding a late equalizer.

I think we'll get a dose of Schürrle or Götze before long if this continues

Gomez's movement has been poor up top. They need to bring on Klose. Muller needs to get the ball in more dangerous situations as well. He's picking up the ball too close to boateng.
Özil isn't connecting with Schweiny and Khedira.
Jogi needs to change it up

Good, succinct summary.

Feel good about the half. Germany is definetly the better side, but Portugal is playing to their strengths and are 2 inches away from being up. Khedira looks terrible and Gomez doesn't look threatening. Don't want to see klose come in

Germany has been somewhat underwhelming, but they just give you that feeling that they will click.
I mean, you can see the 'class' is there.
It only need be intermittent, they don't need to dominate.
Who knows, maybe they'll go the whole match in this funk?
Portugal is well prepared, the only two times I saw some danger coming from Germany slightly, came from the boots of Khedira (not the person you want 'dealing' the ball IMO).

Ronaldo nearly made Boateng fall flat on his arse right there. Holy shite that was pretty

Good God, Ronaldo is good.
