At one point late in the half the announcers mentioned Malouda's name and I was surprised to see that he was playing.
As far as Milner goes, Hodgson wants a good defensive team and I'm sure he's in there for defensive reasons as much as anything. Somebody just tweeted that he's covered more ground than anyone. If he just finishes that chance I'm sure Hodgson would be thrilled with him.
I've always thought he was relatively average personally. Versatile, etc.
