Ok, look ar ESPN's Fantasy baseball: Drop and add players on a first-come, first-serve basis. Works for them.

God, are we actually arguing this much about guys you didn't even draft? Incoming players are going to be handled differently. But of the people you didn't draft? Just get them when you want them.

I'll do whatever you want. I'm just saying that first-come, first-serve is beyond awful, that's all.

If we're suggesting that we have a budget...it's just gonna be super complicated. I just don't see the need when it comes to a pool of mostly reserve players. I mean, it's not gonna be "WSE just dropped Rooney, and I would've won the league with him if I just had a smart phone..."

Waivers, yes, "reward" the worst teams. But with what? First crack at Tom Cleverley?

A budget seems like an unnecessary thing, something that will just complicate it more.

Then we're just have to do random waivers or something like that. The budget thing doesn't make sense when you drafted an entire roster.

You're welcome.

I really think this is a big deal over a small issue. You're not going to be getting a bunch of huge point players in free agency. You still can trade if you want between teams. Sure, you'll find diamonds in the rough and some guys to gamble on...but we're arguing a silly point. You're gonna have to drop a guy you drafted before you pick up one of these prized free agents.

Again, players coming into the league will be handled differently.

I think the biggest issue is the new guys that come in on transfers. Like someone mentioned, if Chelsea actually sign Hulk, all 10 of us are going to want him, for some price.

How do we pick?

WSE, I completely disagree on your stance about the free agency system (and scoring, but that is another matter).

Picking up players matters a lot. Every year, players catch form and can be influential. It happens in every sport. Think about Pappiss Cisse after January and Cam Newton (your boy) in the NFL last year.

Just because they were drafted does not mean they do not matter. Look, if you do not want to do the budget because of time, which I totally understand, then do not do waivers at all. The budget is simpler and superior than waivers when you do have a computer site to do the work for you.

The only two logical options are to decide between FAAB and simple free agency. The debate comes down to fairness vs. time. If the commish does not have the time, then fine, do simple free agency.

Alright, since some Championship folks are freaking out about it (and also doing the same thing here), what scoring system do you prefer...the one I made up or the EPL site one?

Not your fault. It's just that some in your league didn't even read the rules you put in the OP, and now they want to nitpick everything.

Nah, 20legend and I read the rules. We openly discussed with our commish about changing the scoring system to the EPL site. He agreed. The leagues do not have to be identical.

It is not. That is why you do FAAB or simple free agency.

Waivers will be a pain in the arse without a computer system.
