Final Group matches: What to watch for in each Group

Third place finishes will not be dealt with here, as I don't know how those teams will be determined.

Group A

South Korea advances with a draw or win

Czech and SA advance with a win and SK loss.


Group B

Doesn't matter. Canada and Swiss play for the draw and both advance. This is probably each of their gameplan.


Group C

Morocco wins the group with a win and Brazil loss or draw. Scotland advances with a win. Brazil advances with a draw.

Group D


Australia advances with a win or draw. Paraguay has to win to advance.

Group E

Curacao could win second in the group with a win over Ivory Coast and an Ecuador draw or loss.

Group F

Winner of Sweden vs Japan advances. Japan needs to draw to advance.

Group G

This group is completely up for grabs. Egypt takes the group with a win. A draw advances them. Iran and Belgium advance with a win. new Zealand advances with a win and an Iran draw or loss. Both games end in draws, then Iran and Belgium will be decided by GF.

Group H

Cabo Verde advances with a win. They play Saudi Arabia.


Group I

Nothing interesting. France and Norway will play to decide seeding in Knockout round.


Group J


Austria and Algeria will play to determine who advances.


Group K

Portugal just needs to draw. A Portugal loss and Congo win is decided by GD.

Group L

England needs to draw to advance. Croatia needs to win to advance. Ghana needs to draw to advance.
