FIFA investigating USMNT player Zardes for non-compliant shoes

FIFA says that shoes containing Kevlar and steel are not allowed on the pitch during matches. FIFA officials also went onto to say, that although it wouldn't improve his smooth like caramel first touch, the shoes present a safety hazard.

I hear you. And to be honest I tried to think of another word on the fly but I found cringeworthy to be the best way to describe that disaster of a joke. I'll take my lumps and move on.
