That’s kind of the point. They only get sent to the screen if VAR thinks they need to take another look at their original call.
And that's my point. Just VAR reverse like they do for offsides. It's a waste of time.

I disagree. The ref on the field should have final decision on subjective calls. He’s the ref, not VAR.
